Pair hooked on love

KELLY Elizabeth French and Brendan Geoffrey Hunt are high school sweethearts.

"We both attended Tannum High and dated when we were 15 for about six months.

"Long story short, fate brought us back together. And it's the best thing that ever happened to me," Kelly said.

The pair has now been together four years and was married May 12 on the point at Boyne Island beach.

"Everything had a fishing or boating theme and was designed or made by us and our amazing bridesmaids and we used a boat instead of cars for the day," Kelly said.

"We also had bunting strung across the back of the boat attached to fishing rods that instead of saying 'just married' said 'gone fishing'."

The couple also wrote their own vows.
