VIDEO: Otters sure to be a hit at Rockhampton zoo
SPLASHING, swimming and jumping around; the new otters at Rockhampton Zoo were putting on a show.
Soa and Houdini made their first public appearance yesterday morning after being flown up from Taronga Zoo in Sydney.

Life Science Coordinator Graeme Strachan says it's taken close to four years to get the otters to Rockhampton.
"You have to think about the enclosure designs for the otters, go through an application process and figure out which animals would best suit the theme of the zoo, which is 'life in the forest'," Mr Strachan said.
The otter's enclosure is situated next to the monkeys and they will eventually be able to share space with them once they've adjusted to their new home.
Hundreds of children and parents turned up to see Soa and Houdini yesterday, but the pair weren't fazed as they were born in Taronga Zoo and are used to the attention.
