Original art up for grabs at kindergarten fundraiser

THE Kookaburra Creek Ladies High Tea fundraiser is a project close to this French-Belgian national's heart.

Amandine Goffart Petillon is a passionate artist with talent that flows onto every canvas she touches.

The mum of three, all under the age of five, has lived in Gladstone for about two years.

After being approached by the Kookaburra Creek Kindergarten, Amandine was honoured to take part in helping the kindy for its upcoming event.

With a goal to cover 47m of wall length with her art, in the space of a month, Amandine set to work.

Unfortunately the space was slightly too large for the time limit.

"I managed to cover almost 40m," she said.

"I worked full-time every day, sometimes into the night."

The paintings will cover the PCYC and will be for sale.
