Origin to reduce $9.1b debt in tough market

Origin, owner of Australia Pacific Liquefied Natural Gas plant, will change CEOs in October when Mr King retires.

Mr Calabria told the Australian Financial Review the company could only look for growth opportunities once its debts had reduced.

Origin posted a $589 million bottom line loss for the 2015-16 financial year and a total debt of $9.1 billion.
