Toads cleared out of Gladstone park after blitz

BEAUMONT Park in Gladstone was 'toad central' last week, but not any longer following a successful Toadally Wild campaign.

A season record of 557 toads were captured on the evening, with the biggest catch going to the Warthurst Group, catching 157 toads.

The next toad-busting evening will be held at Canoe Point Wetlands at Tannum Sands on February 17.

The evening begins at 7pm, so bring a sense of adventure and a torch.
