Hungry offender steals sausage rolls during busy night

POLICE are investigating a series of events overnight that may be related, including the theft of sausage rolls from a property in Mellefont St.

The first incident happened at Chanel College, Paterson St, West Gladstone between 7pm on Monday and 4.45am on Tuesday, where a milk crate was thrown through a window.

Three more incidents occurred between 12.20am and 1.40am on Tuesday.

An offender tried to start a motor vehicle in Barry St, and pushed it onto the road.

An offender then let down the tyres of a vehicle in Mellefont St.

A property in Mellefont St was then broken into, with an offender putting a hole in a flyscreen and stealing five sausage rolls.
