SOME of the most senior members of notorious street gang Brothers 4 Life, are behind bars.

Three men aged, 31, 29 and 27, were arrested during raids by Strike Force Sitella, which was set up to investigate a number of shootings in Sydney last year.

Police will allege that the men aged 31 and 29 from the Central Coast directed members to commit crimes.

They have also been charged with drug and firearm offences.

The 27-year-old from Auburn has been charged with drug supply.

All were refused bail and will front court at a later date.
