VIDEO: New venue for live music has a rocking opening night

THE Live Room's opening night was a great success, jam-packed with live music and pulling a great crowd.

The June 13 event drew in plenty of music-lovers, who enjoyed an opening acoustic act from one of our resident tutors, Brandon Harrison, local Gladstone punk rockers Animal Throwdown and Brisbane rock outfit We Are Servants.

Mr Breed said everyone was "rocking out to some sweet-as tunes" and the cool vibe was only going to get better.

"If you missed this awesome night, be sure to check out our summary video and some of the awesome shots from the event," he said.

Keep your eyes peeled for future events at The Live Room, 117 Toolooa St.
