New tour features indigenous experience at 1770

A NEW tour that will feature indigenous experiences at Seventeen Seventy will launch on July 21.

The tour, by 1770 Larc Tours, is believed to be the first of its kind in the Southern Great Barrier Reef region.

The tour company has spent 14 months researching, planning and developing the tour.

It will feature authentic indigenous hunting, gathering and tasting.

Participants will travel on an amphibious vehicle across Round Hill Creek to the coastline of Eurimbula National Park.

They will then take a bushwalking tour with the skipper and a descendant of the local Gooreng Gooreng people.
