New restaurant brings Mexican flavours to Gladstone

A NEW Mexican restaurant is on its way to Gladstone and will offer free burritos at a special opening day celebration next month.

Guzman Y Gomez will open at Stockland Gladstone. The franchise opened in Australia in 2006 to celebrate Mexican food and Latin culture.

The menu is built on traditional Mexican flavours, and features burritos, enchiladas, fajitas, tacos, quesadillas, nachos and salads.

The Gladstone restaurant will be licensed and will feature a range of cocktails and imported Mexican beers.

The free burritos opening day will be held on June 26 from 11am to 8pm.

Keen customers will be able to order their favourite fillings for their free burrito.
