Horse stuck in backyard pool

FIRE crews have been called to an animal rescue of a different kind - a horse who decided to go swimming.

Southern media outlets report a horse was discovered in a backyard swimming pool on the Gold Coast this afternoon.

The reports say fire crews have been called to the location to pump the water out of the pool urgently to save the horse.
