GAGAL gives apprentices a future
THE Gladstone Area Group Apprentices Ltd (GAGAL) has delivered ongoing employment and training services to the Central Queensland region since 1985.
As a group training company, GAGAL deals with all the administration involved in developing these skills; it is their host employers that provide the employment opportunities and working environments for local apprentices and trainees.
GAGAL receives massive support from these host networks, which are vital to the success of the company as without hosts there are no apprentices.
Gladstone Regional Council and Gladstone Ports Corporation were two of the first host employers to take on GAGAL apprentices, followed closely by Peachey’s and Walz Construction.
“GAGAL provides outstanding service and quality apprentices when I need them which suits my business needs,” Walz Construction’s Michael Walz said.
“I would recommend their services.”
The bonds forged by these early relationships still stand today with all four companies continuing to support GAGAL by hosting apprentices.
On May 22, GAGAL will celebrate 25 years of operation in Central Queensland at the Gladstone PCYC. Contact the GAGAL office for tickets.
