Mums flock to new markets

THERE were plenty of mamas and even some papas at the first Gladstone Mumma’s Markets staged on Saturday.

It was all about mum and bub as inquisitive mums, dads, parents-to-be and grandparents spent a leisurely Saturday morning browsing through an array of market stalls set up in the St Stephens Lutheran College hall.

The markets included pre-loved baby gear, from toys and books to clothing and cots, plus the opportunity to shop for some more customised products to ensure children made their own bold statements..

Demand from many residents prompted organiser Madonna Geyer to give it a go and the result was a huge success.
