Mt Larcom fire monitored

Firefighters remained on scene at a grass fire burning off Popenia Road at Mount Larcom conducting back burning until about 9pm last night.

The fire is not posing a threat to properties at this time.

The Queensland Fire and Rescue Service will continue to monitor the situation today.

Residents in the area may continue to be affected by smoke haze and are reminded to be vigilant.

If residents are concerned, they should call triple zero immediately.
