Motorcyclists injured in two incidents over the weekend

ONE person was injured in a collision between a car and a motorbike at the weekend.

The motorcyclist was taken to Gladstone Hospital with minor injuries after the incident on Saturday.

Police were called to Red Rover Rd about 4pm. Investigations into the cause of the crash are continuing.

In a second traffic incident involving a motorcycle, a man was flown to Rockhampton Hospital after crashing his motorbike into a tree on Sunday morning.

The incident occurred in bushland at Rodds Bay near Turkey Beach about 9am.

The 32-year-old suffered non-life threatening injuries and was airlifted from the scene.
