Motorcyclist critical after crash with car

A 37-year-old motorcycle rider is in a critical condition after a collision with a car at Ashgrove yesterday afternoon.

Police say the rider was travelling south along Jubilee Terrace around 5pm when it collided with a car at the intersection of Bryant Street.

The rider was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.

The driver and sole occupant of the car was not injured.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
