Motorcyclist breaks leg in crash

A MOTORBIKE rider broke his leg when he came off second best in an altercation with a car on Phillip Street yesterday.

The accident occurred at 12.30pm near the intersection of Hibiscus Avenue.

A 36-year-old male from Kin Kora was riding a Suzuki motorbike. He was transported to Gladstone Hospital by ambulance.

A 59-year-old female from Clinton was driving a Nissan Pulsar and was treated by ambulance officers at the scene for shock.

Investigations are continuing.
