Motorbike and car collide

A husband and wife have suffered serious injuries when the motorbike they were riding and a car collided.

The Sunshine Coast couple was riding with a group of motorcyclists shortly before 1pm when the crash occurred at the intersection of Mt Perry Road and the Burnett Highway, south of Monto.

The AGL Action Rescue Helicopter airlifted a 62 year old man to the Bundaberg Base Hospital suffering serious pelvic, leg and arm fractures.

His wife had also fractured her leg and was taken by road ambulance to Monto Hospital.
