Mo’s go in Gladstone but cash still here for men's health

MOUSTACHES invaded Curtis Island, the Gladstone Port Corporation and even our airport in the name of fundraising more than $80,000 for men's health.

Movember is over for another year, with a new round of freshly shaven faces that belong to everyday people just doing their bit.

Bechtel's projects raised more than $70,000, with a grand $31,282 from QCLNG, $14,018 from contractors PJET and CSO, $12,949 from APLNG and $12,145 from GLNG.

Bechtel Australia was also part of the Mining Challenge network, which is currently ranked fifth globally with more than $1 million raised across Australia.

Aurecon Gladstone raised more than $700 with a team of 10, and two teams from Gladstone Ports Corporation raised almost $10,000 between them.

Since Movember's inception in 2003, a global army of Mo growers and Mo sistas have raised more than $500 million, had billions of conversations about men's health and funded 577 men's health programs.
