The moment Faith knew her time on The Bachelor was up

THE Bachelor's Faith Williams admits her positivity may have given her a false sense of security.

Watching the reality dating show at home has given the 26-year-old a new insight into the strong connections Bachelor Richie Strahan made with the other finalists.

"I'm just high-fiving him and he's on his honeymoon with the other girls," Ms Williams laughed.

"I'm just like 'whoa I was so far behind'.

"I feel like I'm true to myself; that's how I am normally. I don't rush into things and that (being on the show) was rushing it for me."

The bubbly Brisbane hairdresser was eliminated tonight failing to find a deeper connection with Strahan, who was clearly frustrated by her fit of the giggles during the one-on-one time they had on a group camping trip designed to help him select the four women whose families he will meet.

"I think that's why I was uncomfortable about the whole thing. I wanted him to meet my family but at the same time I didn't if I wasn't going to be the girl," she said.

"I couldn't stand the thought of being the second (placed) girl.

"I just couldn't get my words out that day. After that I was like 'I've just blown this'."

Ms Williams suspected she may not be the one for Strahan after their 'parents night out' date last week, during which they had to babysit comedian Hamish Blake as he channelled his inner toddler.

"I couldn't understand why he'd give all the other girls a lot of time together (on their dates) and then in my date I hardly got any alone time with him," she said.

"That was when I was like 'OK I'm in the friend zone'. But you try to be positive and hope for the best."

Ms Williams believes Strahan will choose to pursue a relationship with either Nikki Gogan or Alex Nation.

"He definitely kept an open mind throughout the whole show - he gave quite a few girls a chance - but towards the end I definitely saw a strong connection with Nikki and Alex," she said.

"I'd be happy for either of them because they both suit Richie.

"I just know I really feel for the person who doesn't win. They're really going to get their heart broken."

The Bachelor continues tomorrow night at 7.30pm on Channel 10.
