Vocal MKR duo lash out at the haters

Controversial devout Christian brothers, Josh and Austin, from My Kitchen Rules have defended themselves against their title as 'reality TV's most hated contestants,' calling out Sydney socialites Ibby and Romel as the real villains.

The pair claim that an "uncut version" of the show would reveal the "true colours" of their fellow competition.

"We have beef with them because the things that they've done hasn't been shown," Josh, 25, said.

"They said terrible things and the did terrible things … I don't' know how family friendly your article is going to be, but I can go into detail with the kind of things that they did."

When probed on what exactly went down, Josh said: "On night two, we were sitting across from Ibby and Romel and Romel, out of the blue, starting talking to Austin and saying 'you know what you look like, you look like a boy who is in transition to becoming a woman, and I feel so bad for you.'"

The homeschooled siblings also accused Ibby and Romel of "stalking" them online to find out personal information, even though it's against the show's rules.

"It's one of the rules that you weren't supposed to stalk anybody online, you were supposed to have natural conversation at the table and learn about each other at the table and he (Romel) came in fully loaded with all of these things," Austin, 22, said.

"I'm not blaming the edit, I'm not blaming production, all I'm saying is that people were horrible to us," Josh added.

The contentious duo also confirmed that while they have had acting experience in the past, they are not staged actors on the show.

MKR continues on Channel 7 at 7pm next Sunday to Wednesday.
