Minor flood warning issued for Baffle Creek

THERE has been a minor flood warning issued for Baffle Creek by the Bureau of Meteorology.

A minor flood peak is expected at Essendean Bridge on Saturday night.

At 5.24pm on Thursday the Bureau of Meteorology posted that widespread falls totalling over 200mm have been recorded across the Baffle Creek catchment over the past few days, with the bulk of the rain falling during Thursday.

This has caused creek rises throughout the catchment.

Minor flood levels have peaked at Mimdale and will fall overnight.
