Minor bingles as drivers lose it in the wet

GLADSTONE police are attending to a number of traffic crashes this morning as the wet weather impacts on roads.

A man ran into a pole on Dalrymple Drive, Toolooa at 6am. No other vehicles were involved in the incident.

A 21-year-old woman drove into a barrier at a nursing home on Glen Eden Drive, Glen Eden at 7.06am then left the scene.

In other police news, a 33-year-old man has been charged with drink driving after being breath tested at 1am today.

The man allegedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.111 when tested on Auckland St.
