Miniature Samurai swords stolen during break-in

IF you see a tiny Samurai around town with a shiny new sword, he may be carrying stolen property.

Twelve miniature Samuari swords with copper shields and a 30cm silver knight statue with a sword were stolen from a property in Flinders St, West Gladstone this week.

A resident of the property arrived home to find a back window screen had been removed.

A table had been moved and a back door handle ripped off.

It's believed an offender entered the lounge room, kitchen and other rooms.

The swords and statue had been made by the resident.

Gladstone police are investigating.
