Be alert for the Bushmaster

THE air force's Bushmaster Protective Mobility Vehicles will be conducting training activities out of RAAF Base Amberley today and tomorrow.

The Bushmasters from Number 2 Security Forces Squadron will be practising quick reaction ground response training that will require them to travel on the public road system around RAAF Base Amberley.

Amberley residents in the vicinity of Behms Rd, Haigslea-Amberley Rd and Old Toowoomba Rd may notice vehicle movement.

The training activities will also include blank firing.

The vehicles are required to abide by Queensland road rules when moving on public roads.

The air force will aim to minimise disruptions and thanks local residents and businesses for their patience.
