Men tell ambos they're tripping then drive away

THREE men reported to the Mount Larcom ambulance station on Friday claiming they were "tripping on synthetic cannabis".

But before paramedics could respond, the three men turned around, jumped into their car and left the station.

They said they would drive back to their home in Gladstone.

Police were notified at 10am, and the men were caught soon after.

The driver, who was driving on a disqualified licence, was destined for his residence on Waratah St in Kin Kora.

He will appear in court at a later date.
