THE punters, singers, workers and volunteers have gone, but the memories of Falls Festival 2014 will linger, as the music once again brought people together and created a long list of magical memories.

Here is a rough A-Z of magic moments at Falls 2014.

Asgeir: The young man from Iceland wowed the crowds with a very simple, humble attitude and great music.

Big Freedia: The Queen Diva of Bounce and his dancers showed that it is possible to twerk on top of a DJ's deck table.

Cassettes: The local 1980s performance troupe was a hit with audiences at Lola's Bar.

Dan Sultan: Great rock, great voice, great music. He's a favourite.

Electronic pop: It was the flavour of the year with fantastic shows by La Roux, Alt-J, SBTRK, Jamie XX and others.

Faux fur: Is it back in fashion? We saw a number of attempts to use it as clutches or bags.

George Ezra: The best male voice of the festival. His voice suits blues, rock and indie.

Hollywood touch: Michael Fassbender at the VIP bar.

Internet coverage: If you were with Telstra, it was flawless.

John Butler Trio: You can't go wrong with the guys from Fremantle.

Kim Churchill: The boy from Merimbula is always a favourite around local audiences.

Local artists: So many and so good. From Warren Earl,

Dan Hannaford, Tora, Potato Potato to Dustyesky.

Milky Chance: The German duo experience a magic moment when thousands of fans line-danced to their hit Stolen Dance.

No show: Julian Casablancas and The Voidz.

Outfits: For the girls, it was metallic temporary tattoos and see-through dresses over bikinis. The boys wore black tank tops, felt hats, beards, shorts and sneakers.

Presets: They truly brought the house down. Best Australian act at the festival.

Quality food: Everything from Three Blue Ducks. Fantastic eats.

Ready to party: Salt N Pepa.

Stephanie Gilmore and Spiderbait: The surfer and the rockers shared a moment on stage last Friday.

Temper Trap: They received 2015 performing at the Opera House in Sydney and then offered a fantastic show the next day at Falls.

Uber cool spaces: Lola's Bar was chick, The Village was playful and Lo Fi was super chilled.

VIP Bar: The best view of the main stage was from the top of the hill. Shame we didn't know.

Wilde, Mae: Is there a better hostess that this sassy girl? She can sing, she can play, she is funny and she can do it all.

X Factor: Sunshine Coast singer Sahara Beck. She's ready for a bigger stage.

Young guns: Locals Louie and Patrick. Their chilled music and perfect harmonies are unique.

Zealous: The hundreds of volunteers offering a great experience to punters in all their roles. Thanks!
