Meetings explain NBN wireless rollout in regional areas

THE National Broadband Network fixed wireless service is being rolled out in Gladstone regional areas, with community meetings being held this week to inform residents.

The fixed wireless service will be rolled out in Mount Larcom, Burua, Beecher and River Ranch.

Details about the Mount Larcom proposal will be shared at a community meeting today.

It will be held from 3-6pm at the Mount Larcom Hall, 47 Raglan St, Mount Larcom.

Details about plans for the other areas will be available at a meeting on Tuesday, at the Calliope CWA Hall from 3-6pm.

Interested residents can drop in at any time, with no need for an appointment.
