Maori King's son charged with theft
MAORI King Tuheitia Paki's middle son is facing two charges of burglary and one of theft from a car.
Korotangi Paki, 18, had dropped an initial request for name suppression, and will reappear on July 3 for sentencing.
Lawyer Paul Wicks said the offending was minor and that Paki was appearing for the first time.
The new sentencing date would give time for Paki to address some matters concerning the victims, Wicks said.
