Couple in stable condition after Warrego Hwy crash

UPDATE: A couple has been taken to Roma Hospital after their car rolled west of Toowoomba at 9.50am this morning.

The man, who was driving the vehicle, suffered a medical episode which caused him to lose control of the car.

The vehicle had been towing a caravan when it rolled and blocked the rail line.

Both driver and passenger are in a stable condition. 

BREAKING: Emergency services are working to free a man from a car which has rolled west of Toowoomba this morning.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services are preparing to cut the roof from the vehicle that is blocking the rail line on the Warrego Hwy at Bungil, about 10km west of Roma.

One man is trapped and QFES crews are working to free them.

The vehicle had been towing a caravan when it rolled and blocked the rail line.

Queensland Rail has been advised of the incident and have closed the line while the scene is cleared.
