Man transferred to Rockhampton Hospital

RACQ Capricorn Helicopter Rescue was tasked by QLD Health transport a 51-year-old man from Gladstone Hospital to Rockhampton Hospital on Monday.

The man was suffering an internal bleed and will be monitored by hospital staff.

"The man was presented to Gladstone hospital last night with an internal gastro bleed.

"He stayed in Gladstone overnight, it was then decided that he would need to be transferred to Rockhampton where he will be monitored," a spokesman said.

He was transported in a stable condition.
