Man gets jail time for driving offences
A MAN has been sentenced to spend time in jail after facing four driving charges.
Mathew Cattell was sentenced to 50 days in prison in Gladstone Magistrates court on Wednesday, but will be out in time for Christmas.
The 20-year-old faced four charges, including failing to stop, driving an unliscensed car, driving with a disqualified licence and driving an unregistered car.
Cattell will be out of prison on Monday because he had spent 44 days in custody waiting to be sentenced.
