Man fined after being caught with cannabis
A MAN found with a small amount of cannabis after the car he was a passenger in caught the attention of police, has been fined.
Joseph Shaw pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on Tuesday to possession of scissors and 0.4 grams of cannabis.
The 19-year-old was a passenger in a vehicle that caught the attention of police on October 22.
Shaw was fined $500 and ordered to serve 12 months' probation with urinalysis drug testing.
A conviction was recorded.
