Man, 41 'exposes himself' several times to fellow beachgoers

YESTERDAY police were called to Canoe Point and charged a man who, on several occasions, willfully exposed himself.

Police received the call yesterday afternoon and located the man immediately, and issued him with a $243 fine.

Tannum Sands police said the 41-year-old repeatedly exposed himself to members of the general public.

The man was in company of friends, and is believed to be a Bundaberg resident.

At about the same time police intercepted a driver exceeding the speed limit of more than 40kmh.

The 20-year-old was booked driving at 146kmh in a 100kmh zone on the Bruce Hwy in Tannum Sands.

The man was fined $1137.

Half an hour later at 3pm police intercepted a 50-year-old driver on the Bruce Hwy exceeding the 100kmh zone, clocked at 142kmh.

The man was also fined $1137.
