Man caught with Ice after police interception

A MAN has allegedly been caught with 46 grams of Ice in West End last night.

Police say they intercepted a vehicle on Hope Street and found the drugs and a mobile phone in the man's possession.  

The man also returned a positive reading on a saliva test.

The 39-year-old man from Fairfield was charged with two counts of possessing dangerous drugs and one count of receiving tainted property.

He is scheduled to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on October 18.
