Man caught drink driving on lawn mower

A MAN who was found driving a lawn mower down Glenlyon Rd, learnt you can still be booked for drink driving when you're not in a car or motorbike.

The 20-year-old returned a blood alcohol reading of .079 and was arrested.

"It's happened before, it just doesn't happen very often.

"It reiterates the fact that just because it's a lawn mower it doesn't mean you can't get done for drink driving," Gladstone Police Sergeant Royce Devlin said.

He will appear in court at a later date.
