Man banned from nightclub precinct after street brawl

A MAN who was involved in a street brawl in the Gladstone CBD appeared in Gladstone Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

Zane Tahu Douglas pleaded guilty to two charges including public nuisance.

The court heard the defendant had been involved in a fight on the corner of Goondoon St at 4am on May 19.

Douglas then abused police officers and was aggressive after being transported to the watch house.

He was fined $800 and banned from attending the nightclub precinct for six months.
