Man, 36, killed in motorcycle crash south of Brisbane

A MAN has been killed after his motorcycle veered into the median strip and crashed into a tree about 9pm at Shailer Park overnight.

Police believe the crash occurred around 9pm on Kimberley Drive between the intersection of Billiluna Street and Chatswood Road. 

The 36-year-old was travelling west along Kimberely Drive when he lost control.

The rider was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are now asking for anyone who may have seen the crash, or the Honda bike travelling along Kimberly Road to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
