Missing 21-year-old Coast man found dead

Update:  POLICE have called off the search for missing 21-year-old man Benjamin Gallagher. 

The young man was found dead at about 10am this morning, a Queensland Police Service spokesman confirmed. 

The death is not being treated as suspicious.


POLICE are calling for the public's help to find Benjamin Gallagher, 21, who has not been seen since leaving work on Thursday night.

Benjamin was last seen at his workplace on Bowman Rd in Caloundra on August 13.

He has not contacted his friends or family since then. Police now hold concerns for his welfare.

Benjamin is described as being Caucasian in appearance around 178cms tall, with an average build and short brown hair.

He may be traveling in a white, Daihatsu Charade (similar pictured) with Queensland registration plate 716-HNV.

Police are urging anyone that may have seen Benjamin or have any information that may assist to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
