Gladstone operators can benefit from Santos project

BUSINESSES looking to get on board the operations side of Santos GLNG can find out more at a project update and local business forum next week.

Tier one contractors for the Santos GLNG operation will also be announced as part of the forum.

They will present on their organisations and detail potential opportunities for capable lower-level local suppliers, as well as standards and compliance level requirements, pre-qualification and expression-of-interest processes associated with the LNG plant services contract.

Suppliers who are interested are required to meet best-practice safety standards, ISO accreditation, have the capability to supply directly to tier one contractors and clearly understand where they fit in the supply chain.

The venue will be set up with Santos GLNG project and four tier one contractors available so attendees can work throughout the day.

The Santos GLNG project update and local business forum will be held on Wednesday from 7am for a 7.30am start until 1pm at the Leo Zussino Building, CQUniversity.
