Learn how to create monoprint masterpieces

THIS weekend, Irene Sparks will conduct a two-day life drawing workshop in Creative Gladstone's Crow St space.

"Drawing from life is a vital skill, and we have secured a fabulous professional model," Ms Sparks said.

"On Sunday, we will be doing monoprints inspired by the model which should be a great deal of fun."

Artists through the ages have used life models as subjects to great effect, creating masterpieces that adorn the famous galleries all around the world.

However, even masters have to start somewhere, and this workshop offers that chance to anyone who would like to come along.

The workshop will run on Saturday June 13 and Sunday June 14, from 10am to 4pm, and a light lunch will be provided both days.

A list of materials required will be available from Gladstone Picture Framing once bookings are secured.

"There is still a space or two available for interested people," Ms Sparks said.

For more information or bookings, please call 4972 2493 or 0428 224 931 during business hours.
