Major retail store to open doors in Gladstone next week
WITH the official opening on Saturday, September 10, Officeworks Gladstone will be donating up to $4000 back into the community.
Including $2000 to the Gladstone PCYC, and $2000 to the Gladstone Coordinated Response to Domestic and Family Violence.
The development that has employed 22 jobs locally, will open its doors at 8.30am.
From Monday to Friday the store will be open until 9pm, 5pm on a Saturday and 6pm on a Sunday.
The store will stock products for both businesses and residents, including a range of technology and furniture, office supplies, print and copy services and parcel delivery service.
Officeworks managing director, Mark Ward and store business manager, Chris Boyd, will present the cheques alongside Deputy Mayor, Cr Chris Trevor, at the ceremony.
"We've received a warm welcome from residents since announcing our opening and our friendly team members can't wait to assist customers make bigger things happen," Mr Boyd said.
"We're very much looking forward to hosting our opening ceremony and supporting two important community initiatives on September 13."
Residents will also have opportunities to learn new skills with a schedule of 'how to' classes in-store on some weekends; while kids can get creative at Ollie Kids' Club workshops held during school holidays.
The store is located at 58 Hanson Rd, Gladstone.
