Mackay mum stable after being stung by an irukandji

A 40-YEAR-OLD Mackay mother stung by what's suspected to have been an irukandji jellyfish at Agnes Water was yesterday in a stable condition and under observation in the Bundaberg Hospital.

Lifesavers initially administered first aid after she was stung until an ambulance arrived and gave her pain relief before she was taken to hospital.
