Macca’s launches insane $1 burger deal

TODAY is a good day for cheeseburger fans.

Not only is it International Cheeseburger Day, but in celebration of the occasion McDonald's has a very sweet deal.

Customers will be able to purchase a cheeseburger for just $1 through the mymacca's smartphone app.

All you need to do is log into the app and check the My Rewards section to redeem a cheeseburger for just $1.

The mymacca's app is available for free download on iOS via the Apple App Store and Android via Google Play.

The McDonald's special promotion is limited to just one per customer and exclusively via the app.

"We know so many of our customers love our iconic cheeseburger, so what better way to celebrate cheeseburger day than with one at Macca's!" a McDonald's spokeswoman told news.com.au.

Macca's announcement has proved a hit online, with several people making plans to hit up the fast-food chain for lunch (or even earlier).

"Is it wrong to get this for breakfast?" one person commented, tagging their friend.

"Looks like we will need a midweek run!" another wrote.

Back in June, Macca's caused a stampede when it announced it would be selling its Big Mac burger for just $1.
The one-day deal caused huge queues at McDonald's outlets around Australia as well as many excited customers on social media. .

"Can you please take a long lunch break and bring me three please?" one person asked her colleague.

One guy even asked his girlfriend: "Wanna go out on a date?"

"How romantic," she replied.

Another woman tagged their mate and commented: "Guess what's for lunch and dinner on Tuesday?!"
