Mac makes assault on bodybuilding title at tender age of 60+

MAC Hosking is over 60-years-old, but not over the hill.

A bodybuilder, Hosking is as competitive now as any time in his life. Now he wants to make an assault on the INBA Australian Masters, aiming at a podium finish.

After finishing fourth in 2013, the Gladstone bodybuilder is not satisfied and is eyeing the top three.

"I was taking the year off but then I heard the national titles were in Brisbane, not Melbourne," he said.

Following a strict diet of proteins, light carbohydrates and lots of vegetables, Hosking is doing everything he can to make himself the best in the country.

He also trains five days a week, much more than most over the age of 60 do.

You can learn more about Hosking's 10 years in bodybuilding and his charge at the Australian titles in the Weekend section in Saturday's print edition of The Observer.
