Mac attack lands man in court after he kicks in door

THE man just wanted a feed, but Adam John Sene was on foot when he tried to order from the new McDonalds' drive-through at 2.40am on September 21.

Police prosecutor Sean Franklin told Gladstone Magistrates Court Sene became aggressive when he was refused service.

He then allegedly walked to the front entrance, tried to open the locked door, then kicked the lower glass panel, which smashed.

Lawyer Megan Creaser said her client had thought the panel was perspex, not glass.

Magistrate Russell Warfield said it made no difference - it was still wilful damage.

Sene was fined $700 and ordered to pay $575 in restitution.
