Long wait for taxi ends in frustrating walk home

THE long wait for a taxi is still an issue in Gladstone, with one disgruntled customer sharing her concerns on The Observer's Your Story section.

This new feature of our website is a great place to vent if there's something you've been itching to get off your chest, or if there's something great in the community you'd like to celebrate.

But back to the taxis: Donna05 and her husband called for a taxi at 10pm on Saturday, and by midnight still hadn't managed to snare one.

In the end they gave up and ended up walking home.
