THE addition of Alan Jones and Dr Chris Davis to the campaign fray could be having more of an impact on conservative voters than the government would like.
Conservative flag waver and radio shock jock Alan Jones returned from holidays to continue his crusade against the Newman Government, taking advantage of the Macquarie/Fairfax Radio merge to host a one-hour special radio program on 4BC.
And former LNP assistant health minister Dr Chris Davis has lent his opinion to a Wilderness Society television campaign, questioning the government's record on trust.
"I could not in good conscience stay part of a government that was happy to trade away public trust in its own self interest," he intones in the commercial.
But is anyone listening? Probably, say the experts.
Dr Davis's commercial has had more than 18,000 views on YouTube since its launch on January 16, as well as television airplay, and Mr Jones's comments have spread further than the 4BC airwaves, with most media outlets repeating them.
