A FAMILY fun day will be held at the Yarwun recreational grounds on Calliope River Road on Sunday from 10am - 2pm.
IF YOU'RE keen to catch some live music, or take the stage yourself, the Elders Country Music Festival is the place to be. This year's event, held at the Boyne Valley Discovery Centre in Ubobo started yesterday and continues today and tomorrow. It starts at 9am Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $20 for day visitors and $60 for a family pass.
WATCH BITS FC take on Frenchville FC in round five of the FFA cup. The football match is held at BITS fields from 7pm.
PICK up some fresh produce or a unique buy of crafts or jewellery at the Rotary Kmart Markets tomorrow. The stalls will be open from 7am-noon.
Monster Cent Sale
Yaralla Junior Football Club is holding a monster cent sale on Sunday at the Gladstone Bowls Club. Doors open at 11.30am for a 1pm start. Door entry is $1 for adults and 50c for children.
Join in an afternoon of fun and games at Lightbox on Sunday. Games for hire include Monopoly, Articulate, Connect 4, Pick Up Sticks, Jenga, Cluedo and more. It's from 12noon to 6pm. All proceeds to Autism Queensland Gladstone. Lunch and Blue Cocktails/Mocktails available.
THE first Gladstone region fixtures AFL match will kick off today at the BITS field. Watch our Gladstone teams battle it out for points when BITS Saints take on the Gladstone Mudcrabs. The reserves game starts at 12.15pm and the A-Grade will start at 2.30pm.
EXPERIENCE the country at the Thangool Races today. All the horse racing action will kick off from noon. A free bus service will leave from the Biloela Visitor Information Centre from 11.30am-1pm.
