To celebrate the 60th year of Under 8s Week, Trinity College put on a colourful circus day with games, face painting, arts and crafts and a jumping castle.

Year two teacher Sarah McClintock said they wanted to make it as colourful and fun as possible.

Page Sweeney dressed up as a tiger.

"Mum dressed me up like a tiger because she thought I would jump through the ring," she said.

"It was really high and fun."

Her favourite activity was the face painting, although that was before she had her turn on the jumping castle.

"I like to get my face painted because it makes me look like an animal," she said.
